I've always liked A & W. There burgers are always juicy and delicious, but what keeps me coming back besides the food is the home-made Root Beer, YUM.

This is a nice night out, don't want to get dressed up for dinner, go to the Drive-in A & W on Grand River....in Farmington Hills....the Service is always friendly and the food is always Tasty....and the Cold Frosty Mug of Root Beer....is so yummy....we love it...

I took my niece and nephews here a couple weeks ago. This is a traditional location where you order using the intercom and the server brings the food out to the car. There is a nice selection of items, including foot longs, burgers, and chick tenders, fries, and my favorite cheese curds. The service is friendly and prompt and the food is just how I remembered it: yummy. One note on the food: I do not recommend ordering the chicken chunks; just blah. Otherwise, awesome food.

An excellent A&W. Very nice, fast at-your-car service. The food is always good, and the root beer has that classic homemade taste. Seating and ambiance are provided by your car ;) although they do have a couple of stools and picnic tables.

Old school A&W with car hops and window trays. I have been going to this place since I was kid and I have only had the floats and french fries. Honestly, I don't see the point in ordering anything else. If you choose to dine at the restaurant,, they serve the floats in a glass mug, which pushes the experience over the top for me. Having a float and fries at this place is like going back in time.

This A&W location does everything right. Old fashioned ordering board with order and tray pick up buttons - check. Car hop delivering your meal on a tray that goes on your car window - check. A&W root beer in glass mugs if you eat in your car - check. Delicious A&W Papa Burgers, onion rings, cheese curds and amazing root beer - check. When you add in the owners cooking and car hopping your food, and being so wonderfully social and friendly and proud of their delicious food, it's an all around win for the person who stops by.
